Holiday Photo Cards - Buy One, Get One FREE
(that’s 50¢ a card, folks!)
My favorite Christmas Cards are the ones that have real photos. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but cards with actual photos just seem classier to me. I know that digital photo cards are super convenient, but they are SO unpredictable! Half the time the photo seems grainy or the color is off. Scary.
Michelle designed each of our Holiday Photo Cards with one goal in mind: to highlight your family photo. Each card has just the right amount of charm, but not too much bling.
Hundreds of vendors silently cursed Tuesday’s torrential downpour as we lugged our wares into the cavernous Dallas Convention Center. Michelle and I finished setting up our Scribbles booth around 7pm (we are booth #287).
Before heading home, I took a quick run through the convention hall to check things out. It looks to me like there are some really neat vendors this year! I especially like the vendors who are actually peddling their own, handcrafted ware as opposed to someone who basically just buys stuff to re-sell it at a higher price.
One booth in particular that I really liked is located just to the right of the entrance on the main hallway – it’s called Crop, Paper, Scissors. I visited with the owner and learned that she actually owns a store in Waco, Texas. I adore her Bingo Cards (I think I’m going to buy them for Claire for Christmas!). The other thing that I can’t get out of my mind are her amazingly cool shabby chic displays! If you DO end up stopping by her booth, will you put in a good word for Scribbles Reusable Bags? She’s considering carrying them and I’m counting on my Scribblin Friends to help me convince her that they would be perfect in her Waco store!
Ok – gotta go sell some Scribbles! I’ll keep you updated on the goings on at the Chi O Show… (that rhymes)
