The start of school rocks everyone’s world in a household, and my house is no exception. If you read my latest post, I Will Survive, you saw what the second day of school looked like at our house. The only thing missing from the picture was me . . . yes, I too felt like I had been hit by a truck.
That is why last year I started sitting down on Sunday afternoon’s and planning our week. From busy schedules to what we were going to have for dinner each night, I use our Family Calendar and our Menu Planner. While I am not your typical Type A personality (just ask my cousin Amy), this regular routine has changed my world.
As my children get older and are involved in after school activities, I can’t live without my Family Calendar. Let’s face it, disorganization happens. Managing multiple schedules is always stressful. Let us take away some of the stress by using our family calendar to organize your week. It will magnetize to your fridge or you can use it flat. Seven schedules at a glance. This is organizational bliss!
The other product I can’t live without is our Menu Planner. What’s for dinner? Three words that can make even the bravest of women shudder. Never wonder what’s for dinner again when you use a menu planner. Our Menu Planner has a perforated shopping list that tears off for quick trips to the market while the week’s meals stay on your fridge for all to see. Menus are planned, meals are cooked, families are happy.
So are you feeling insane as the new school year begins? Start your planning on Sunday with these two planners and I promise you will find your self living in organized bliss!
